Key Responsibilities

• Architect and develop solutions utilizing cloud-based data and distributed computing to build a next-gen data platform.
• Design, test, and maintain production-grade backend APIs, data streaming services, and analytics pipelines.
• Lead through the entire software lifecycle—requirements, architecture, prototyping, deployment, and support.
• Collaborate with users and team members to refine requirements and provide guidance on best practices.
• Apply creativity to engineer high-performance monitoring and alerting solutions for data platform health.
• Engage in feature brainstorming, technical design, and code reviews within our global team.
• Deliver well-documented, rigorously tested, and maintainable software.
• Support on-call rotations, embracing our “own what we build” philosophy.

Minimum Qualifications

• 7+ years in professional software development, including complex distributed systems.
• Experience in developing service-oriented architectures (e.g., REST/RPC APIs), real-time streaming platforms (such as Kafka or Apache Flink), and analytical databases
• Knowledge of both SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Deep understanding of CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and software engineering best practices.
• Self-motivated, curious, and adept at thriving in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to continuous learning and a thorough approach to complex problem-solving.

Preferred Qualifications

• Docker proficiency (Kubernetes a plus).
• Experience with build automation (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS preferred but not required).
• Experience with Python/Golang (preferred, but not required)
