Enterprise Data Analyst

We are seeking a highly adaptable and motivated professional with a strong technical skillset to join a fresh Data team in a dynamic Enterprise Data Analyst role.
This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a greenfield project, building a new corporate data warehouse that will serve as the foundation for enterprise-wide reporting.
With a diverse range of cross-functional stakeholders, this is a high-visibility, high-impact role. The ideal candidate should be eager to learn new technical skills, collaborate closely with business partners, and support a Centre of Excellence as we develop a self-service BI function.
Our modern and evolving data platform leverages Snowflake, DBT, Airflow (Astronomer), FiveTran, Sigma Computing, and PowerBI.
Responsibilities
- Work directly with end users to gather requirements and design solutions.
- Translate business needs into technical specifications and data models, supporting data warehouse engineers.
- Develop data analyses and reporting models using tools such as DBT.
- Build interactive and insightful dashboards to serve both business and technology users.
- Stay updated on Sigma and PowerBI developments, evaluating and integrating new features while training users to drive adoption.
- Develop training materials and documentation for broader team use.
- Provide support for self-service BI users across business teams.
Qualifications
- Strong data visualization skills with the ability to provide clear insights, ideally with experience in a financial setting.
- Proven ability to work with complex data sets and extract key insights.
- Excellent analytical skills to identify requirements from end users beyond predefined specifications.
- A mindset focused on automation and solutions that minimize manual intervention while ensuring data quality.
- At least 2 years of experience with Snowflake.
- Production deployments of DBT with a minimum of 1 year of experience.
- 3+ years of experience delivering BI visualizations using PowerBI, Tableau, Looker, or custom D3.js solutions.
- Willingness to learn and work with additional technologies, with training and support provided as needed.
